What's the difference between the types of brows?
Powder brows -- Perfect for those who want a really natural look.
Ombré- A full ombre can be as soft or bold as you like. If you like your brows to look like make-up then this is the option best for you. This is the only method suited to really oily/open poured skin.
Is there a minimum age ?
Yes, you need to be at least 18. ID may be asked as proof of age.

No problem, I offer no obligation consultation and we can discuss everything about brows! To make sure you are 100% happy you get your dream brows.
Does it hurt?
Pain is very minimal. If you wish, you can buy a pre numb cream from a pharmacy and apply it only once to the area 20mins prior to your appointment. please read all the leaflet that comes with it and patch test yourself before using it on treatment day.
Can i choose the shape and colour?
yes, i tailor your brows to your face. every brow is custom to yourself.
How long does it take?
Brows: 2.5h-4hrs
LIps: 3-4hrs
Appointments are booked on 1-4 hour basis allowing for thorough consultation and treatment . Tattooing time varies for each treatment .
Do you provide aftercare?
Yes i will provide you with all the aftercare you need and instructions which can also be read here on the website
Can i bring a friend?
Due to the current circumstances surrounding Covid ,and for insurance purpose you are not able to bring a friend or a relative with you to the appointment . It increases the risk of infection and you will not be able to talk to them during the treatment.
If you bring a friend they will be asked to wait outside for you.
How long between first session and perfecting session?
6-8 weeks.
Will Semi Permanent Makeup last forever?
Permanent Makeup will fade over time but some traces will never fully go without removal. An annual colour boost is advised to keep the colour on point!
Is it safe if I'm pregnant ?
Permanent cosmetics are not safe for women who are pregnant or nursing .
Pregnancy can cause undesirable results due to hormonal changes in the body
How long does it last ?
Many factors play a role in the lifespan of the implanted pigment.
Clients skin type plays the biggest role in longevity and the general outcome of the procedure . Oily skin types may heal softer with a powder finish while drier skin types may heal more crisp and defined. Darker pigments tend to last longer .
Proper UVA/UVB protection will prevent colour from fading as quickly when in sunny climates. Agressive skin treatments such as laser , chemical peel , dermabrassion etc do not get along with micropigmentation .
What can i expect after the treatment ?
Most clients leave the appointment with no redness. The cooling gel is used after the appointment to control any swelling or redness which means you can continue your day with no funny looks pr questions. Your results will vary depending on skin type, lifestyle , and the immediate and long term aftercare of your new cosmetic tattoo. Once healed (after 4-6weeks )the colour will reduce by 30-50%. Patchiness ans lightness can be perfected during your second session .
Will I need touch up after my initial appointment ?how long will my new brows last?
Most clients require 2 sessions to have their brows perfected . Touch up appointments can be made 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment . Clients with fuller brows may not need a touch up . Annual touch ups are highly recommended to maintain fresh looking results . Your brow cosmetic tattoo can last 1-3 years depending on sun exposure , lifestyle and skin type. Oily skin types tend to fade faster than dry skin .
Do you have parking?
Yes, there is free street parking available up to 60 min .
If your appointment will take longer than 60min , there is Bishopthorpe Road car park 2 min walk away from studio and its up to 3 hours ,and costs 50p per hour , Nunnery car park 5 min away, alternatively ,there's a free on street parking on Albemarle road 5min away .
